Complex Chronic Medical Conditions

Conditions that usually improve:

  • Scoliosis

  • Autoimmune disorders

  • Neuropathic pain

  • Long Haul Covid

  • Lingering dysfunction after physical or psychological traumas

  • Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)

Never well since surgery, vaccination, medication, physical trauma, exhaustion, psychological shock, illness, or abstinence from addiction

Many people unfortunately have long standing complex medical conditions that have not responded to mainstream treatment options.

As a physician, I have decades of experience assessing functional status and can identify what can be improved. As I have 30 years plus watching many such conditions improve or resolve, I can tell you what is a likely course of therapy and the time it is likely to take. As allopathic therapy has not gotten desired outcomes for this patient population, I use osteopathy, Rolfing, tolerable dietary changes, and Somatic Experiencing in conjunction with the current allopathic plan.

I will not change your prescription medicines. They usually are providing necessary symptomatic relief and support. However, as improvement in vitality occurs, symptoms improve, and many medicines become can be modified or eliminated. This will be obvious to you, and you will make the decision to modify your medication once you feel a stable improvement and we have discussed all pertinent factors.

No webpage can do this topic justice as each person is unique and there are always multiple pertinent factors to be considered. All those I have met with complex chronic medical conditions have done a great deal of internet research yet are not making progress.

I have the education, training, and experience both allopathic and alternative to sort out the details, identify untried possibilities that you can actually do. After decades of successful experience, if I do not think I will make much of a difference, I will say so.

The first visit is an interview. Some people have had up to 90 minutes of history and labs to review. Once I have a sense of what is possible, I will make suggestions. My criteria for such suggestions is that they must be approved by you, be reasonable to do, and be likely to cause some gain in function rather quickly. Nothing like a sequence of successful experiences.

You must bring a level of discipline to make consistent changes in your lifestyle once you see the possibility or actual benefit.

I do not offer treatments for cancer elimination.
